We are almost halfway through the Formula One season and boy it has been an exciting last few races. Yes, the Austrian Grand Prix was the best of all. While the drivers of these cars are no more than superhumans compared to us normal humans. It is really the younger lot currently that is performing really well and impressing us on the track. But do you know how much is an F1 driver paid for the entire season?

Well, compared to some drivers who are performing extremely well compared to how much they have been paid. Let us take a look at the salaries of F1 drivers for the 2019 season.

As seen from the table above, Lewis Hamilton is the highest paid driver for this season followed by Sebastian Vettel. Daniel Ricciardo jumps to the third highest paid driver after he switches from Red Bull to Renault this year. While amongst the new rookies entering F1, Charles Leclerc takes the biggest package out of all the young drivers as a result of making a switch to Ferrari this year after leaving Sauber which is now Alfa Romeo Racing.
